Starting to look like winter around Wasaga Beach! Temperatures ranging from a balmy  9C to  -8C by the end of the week.

Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 – looking east toward beach one half way through my daily walk. We reached a high of 9C  today and the snow was already melting by mid-morning.
Monday, December 3rd, 2018 – I walk by this beach house just east of 18th street every day. It’s shuttered in the winter and it’s rare to see the lights on. It was recently up for sale and I gather it has new owners.
Tuesday, December 4th, 2018 – looking west from 13th street across the beach.
Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 – this picture taken from one of the parking lots at beach one looking at the rear of the surf shop – painted a distinctive blue color.
Friday, December 7th, 2018 – We had 20 cm of fresh snow overnight and the busses were cancelled today. It was clearing by early afternoon so I ventured down the beach. With so much snow I walked on snowmobile trails down to 13th street and turned around.
Friday, December 7th, 2018 – Fresh snowmobile tracks extend the whole length of the beach. You need to be careful because this is a safe place to see what a snow machine will do – lots of people trying to set land speed records.
