Monday, June 24th, 2019 – You can pose for pictures at the Piping Plover preservation area east of Beach One.
Monday, June 24th, 2019 – For some reason I found this pretty funny – after walking past all the secure areas where Piping Plovers are protected by watchful volunteers and cages to protect them from predators, this little guy jump out right in front of me outside the protected area.
Tuesday, June 25th, 2019 – A Piping Plover information booth manned by a steady stream of awesome volunteers protecting this endangered species.

Sunday, June 9th, 2019 – looking east from near 16th street. Lots of silt and debris on the shore. Local property owners are not happy this year!
