This is the week before Donald Trump’s inauguration in the United States, and our neighbors are wondering if he will come through on his 25% tariff threat. Interesting times! Meanwhile, it’s been an excellent January in terms of enjoying the beach. It’s nice to see a real winter for a change after back-to-back warm winters the past few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday, January 13th, 2025 – Seeing the sun after a week of overcast skies is nice. There is plenty of shore ice, but as you can see in the distance, there is blue water, and Georgian Bay is still open. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
