This week there was a terrible shooting in Nova Scotia that gripped the nation. My sister’s OPP detachment in Parry Sound posted a wonderful tribute with Georgian Bay in the background.

These pictures illustrate why some of my family and friends are wise to stay in Florida. Even when the snow is gone, spring seems to drag on forever in Southern Ontario and the beach is ugly. April showers bring May flowers.

The beach continues to be closed. I haven’t been walking along the beach, but I’ve been walking into deserted beach entrances to snap pictures.
