I&#8217;m especially drawn to the flag. It measures how nasty the wind has been.\u00a0 We have another flag in tatters this week. A chair suddenly showed up out of nowhere. I didn&#8217;t see a single person on my walk again. Almost like summer. There are lots of great properties on the beach. I took around twenty pictures and picked this one to represent the day. What struck me during my walk today is this new man-made\u00a0berm apparently meant to protect\u00a0beach one from high waves. I expect this will become frozen solid in the coming weeks and prevent the road becoming part of the beach as happened a few weeks back. Smart. I&#8217;ll keep tabs and see how it works!
