This week we had an all-day rain event Sunday that is keeping the neighborhood grass nice and green (and the weeds growing).<\/p>\n

Despite the rain I decided to walk down the beach anyway.<\/p>\n

Monday, August 17, 2020 – A pleasant Monday with a cool breeze. I’m taking too many pictures from the park on 13th street (mid-point on my daily hike to beach one). Unfortunately, with the water still at record highs, it’s hard to walk directly on the beach this year without disturbing people. In places you need to wade into the water to get past collapsed retaining walls.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
