After heavy snow on the weekend, we’re starting to finally get colder temperatures. The shoreline is slowly starting to freeze despite steady winds from the west and northwest. Daily snow is making it hard to walk down the beach!<\/p>\n

Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 – Walking into a snowsquall heading east on the way to beach one. The snowmobile trails were much more packed today making it easier to walk along the shore.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 – Exiting the beach near 13th street on the way back from beach one. There is a good trail here. Apparently lots of other people had the same idea.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Wednesday, January 27th, 2021 – More fresh snow made the beach very challenging to walk on again today. I decided to pack it in at 13th street and turn around. This picture taken looking east about half way to my usual beach one destination.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Thursday, January 28th, 2021 – I ended up walking down Shore Lane again today. I entered the beach at 14th street hoping there were packed snowmobile trails, but this picture shows the deep snow drifts that have covered the trails. Walking on the beach without snow shoes was not happening today!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
