This week kicked off with Halloween falling on a Sunday. We had this “Amityville Horror” thing going on at our place for trick-or-treaters so I couldn’t resist posting a picture. The view from Beach 6 this week was reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” – BOO! \ud83d\ude42 This was also the week of our first snowfall of the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I changed our header graphic on the website to reflect the awesome red leaves in our front yard. As of November 7th, our leaves are still stuck with crazy glue to the trees. By this time last year I recall that they were all pretty much down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 – Taken entering 57th street looking across the bay towards Collingwood. These clouds chased me east and I just made it back to my truck as the rain started to fall.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 – By early morning on Wednesday the rain had turned to snow. Taken from our deck looking south. The lake effect snow machine has churned into action and we had snow most of the morning. It didn’t last long, but it stuck around on Blue Mountain. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 – The snow squalls have stopped here, but there is significant new snow on the Blue Mountains across the bay. I watched fresh new snow squalls coming in during my walk.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 – Residents along the waterfront have started to prepare for harsher weather. Most people along the waterfront erect these plywood barriers. Otherwise grass would be destroyed by beach sand driven by high winds.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
