Exciting week at our place. We started construction on a sunroom addition to our home. Despite this, I managed to get down the beach every day. We’re certainly experiencing a cold winter this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 – A warmer day with high winds – suddenly the water is open again. This picture shows why it is insane to venture out on the ice on Georgian Bay. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Thursday, January 20th, 2022 – It was -18C so I ventured out partway on the ice – looking northwest towards Collingwood. The large ice chunks are the product of wave action when there are northwest winds.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
