This week I thought I was back in Ottawa or Sudbury a few times. We got all the way down the -27C by the end of the week which is pretty cold for around here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, January 29th, 2023 – Nature is cruel. I came across this Raccoon near our house on my daily walk. You never see raccoons out in the open like this so something is obviously wrong. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Monday, January 30th, 2023 – I definitely get my exercise this time of year. Even when walking down the snowmobile tracks it is tiring walking on the beach on the snow.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday, January 31st, 2023 – I tried walking down the beach east from 57th street, but it was too hard – the snow was too deep. I ended up cutting back to Shore Lane through even deeper snow at this beach exit so I could get back to a road that had been plowed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Friday, February 3rd, 2023 – The squalls continued, and the visibility was as bad as I’ve ever seen it. This picture taken at high-noon along Shore Lane. I drove along the concession roads later the same afternoon and I had to stop the truch due to whiteout conditions.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
