This week started with a quick day trip up to the Sudbury area to attend a family function near Levack \/ Onaping, Ontario. It was nice to get up north and see family. It was an exciting week on the beach leading up to the Civic Holiday, our third long-weekend of the summer. The beaches have been packed this summer every long weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, July 30th, 2023 – Taking a break from driving at the French River Trading Post. This is a favorite spot to stop just outside of Sudbury. An excellent restaurant, gift shop and picnic area. French River Trading Post (frtpstore.com)<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, July 31th, 2023 – I got back to Wasaga on Sunday evening in time for a walk down the beacj in the evening and came across this sand castle near Beach 6. Someone was busy!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 – You can spot the area west of Beach area 6 because it is only part of the beach with rocks along the shore.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 – Walking down the beach on Thursday over the noon hour. This time of year, the area around beach one is always packed. You can see the crowds in the distance.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Friday, August 4th, 2023 – An evening walk about Beach 6 with the sun low on the horizon.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Saturday, August 5th, 2023 – Watching the parasailers, a friend and I got the idea to do this ourselves. We ended up going out parasailing ourselves on August 22nd and got lots of excellent pictures of the adventure.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
