The feature image for this post is a private walkway located between the east end of Shore Lane and the park area near 13th Street. This week brought our first round of hot summer temperatures. On Monday, we reached a high of 34.8C\u00b0 according to the weather crossing API – my new source of local weather data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, June 22nd, 2025 – The beach comes alive on hot days. This picture was taken from one of the many entrances to the beach along the provincial park at Beach Area 5. It’s great to see people up from Toronto enjoying the excellent weather.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Monday, June 23rd, 2025 – Around our pool, the temperature hit 39\u00b0C. I’m not sure how accurate this temperature is. It was taken in the shade under our gazebo near the pool. It’s possible that the black shingles on the roof were heating the air under the gazebo.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
