Early in the week my favorite in-laws from Cape Breton popped by. They happened to be in Toronto for a long weekend so we dragged them 90 minutes north. We had a short but wonderful visit. Michelle and I are grateful they took the took the time to visit on a Sunday.
Sunday, July 8th, 2018 – I kind of recall being able to do cool stuff like this but it was a long time ago 🙂 – I’m not supposed to identify the athlete , but friends and family know who he is – LOL.
Sunday, July 8th, 2018 – We were lucky that Jacky and Reg stopped by following a long weekend in the “big smoke”. Jacky and Jen sitting by the pool.
Sunday, July 8th, 2018 – Jamie (right), Reg (left) and I took a walk down to beach one. The fun fair was being setup up but was not yet open.
Monday, July 9th, 2018 – Even on a Monday the beach is crowded this time of year. This picture taken from the boardwalk west of Beach one looking east.
Monday, July 9th – What I love about Wasaga Beach is that even at the peak of tourist season it’s easy to find a quiet spot. This pic taken on the trail between 13th street and Shore Lane.
Tuesday, July 10th, 2018 – This picture illustrates how weather affects daily traffic on the beach. A mild north wind and the beach is almost empty. This could be early October.
Tuesday, July 10th, 2018 – I enjoyed the north winds today and having the beach mostly to myself again.
Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 – Looking west toward Beach One from the west end of the board walk.
Thursday, July 12th, 2018 – looking west from beach 3
Friday, July 13th, 2018 – Looking to the beach from the east side of the western boardwalk.
Friday, July 13th, 2018 – The seagulls are scary brave today. .
