We began to see some cooler nights finally, but we are still far from the Bay being cold enough to freeze. It was great to be able to walk down the beach every day before Christmas without worrying about weather.
Sunday, December 17th, 2023 – Canada Geese trying to decide whether to go north or south near Beach area 6.Monday, December 18th, 2023 – On a (very) rainy day heading east towards Beach area 5. I managed to get “soaked to the skin” despite having an umbrella.Tuesday, December 19th, 2023 – A very pleasant evening walk. I can’t recall exactly where this was taken, but it is generally in the beach 6 area (looking west, of course).Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 – What little overnight snow we had on the beach is rapidly melting.Thursday, December 21st, 2023 – This could have been a nice day in May! Heading east towards Beach one along my traditional noon-hour walking route. It was right around 1C with little wind.Friday, December 22nd, 2023 – Looking west from near the condos at 30th street across a dry, wind-swept beach.Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 – 28th street marks the western border of Beach area 4. It’s scary that I’m starting to recognize most parts of the beach on sight. 🙂
