As with prior years, we had a lot of fun for Halloween. The trail between the Recplex and Shore Lane is turned into a haunted trail on the day following Halloween and the decorations get better every year.
Sunday, October 27th, 2024 – Cottages near 28th street during my daily walk in the beach 4 and beach 5 area.
Monday, October 28th, 2024 – Walking east down the main beach. Three years ago, the water was so high that this road was regularly flooding and the town erected barriers to protect the properties along Beach drive from flooding.
Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 – This leaning tree is sure to fall one of these days. Everytime I walk under this tree at beach area 5, I move quickly in case today is the day that it falls. 🙂
Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 – An entrance to the beach at the most easterly point of Wasaga Beach. To the right (east) is protected area.
Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 – The outdoor Beach Bar and Grill closed for the season along Beach Drive.
Thursday, October 31st, 2024 – We often get rain on Halloween, and this year was no exception. We had about 30 trick-or-treaters this year.
Friday, November 1st, 2024 – The day after Halloween, local residents bring their Jack-o-lanterns to Oakview Woods at the recplex. The Pumpkins are used for a “haunted trail” and the pumpkins are then taken as feed for livestock in the area.
Friday, November 21st, 2024 – The “haunted trail” in Oakview Woods the day after Halloween. (It looks a lot scarier at night)
Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 – Exiting the beach at 28th street. Beach area 4 starts just to the left of these row homes.
