We’re certainly having a more traditional winter this year with snow almost every day. The only downside is that the deep show makes it hard to walk along the beach so I end up walking down roads and trails along the water instead.
Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 – Walking down the trail from the Recplex to Shorelane, just west of 41st street north.Monday, February 3rd, 2025 – The same trail after some fresh snow overnight.Tuesday, February 4th, 2025 – Walking east down ShoreLane in the area of 37th street. On the left side of the street you can see the snow drifts formed by blowing snow coming off Georgian Bay.Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 – I walked out on the ice to take this picture. I’m standing on the first set of ice berms offshore looking at newly formed ice berms in the distance.Thursday, February 6th 2025 – These are cabins at 37th that are occupied year round.Friday, February 7th, 2025 – These are residences at 37th street that I walk by almost every day. The Mannequin is always dressed for the season, but today she is alsmost entirely covered in snow.Saturday, February 8th, 2025 – This picture was taken just west of 20th street. You can see that snow removal is a serious effort along this section of the beach.
