We enjoyed another week of daily snow with seasonal temperatures again this week. The cover picture shows the ice berms forming along the beach, created by waves and successive freeze-thaw cycles. If we get a cold enough January, I’m optimistic we will be able to walk the length of the beach on the ice this year.

Hopefully we will get colder weather in the new year.Saturday, December 20th, 2025 – The beach was down to sand between beach areas 4 and 5 making it much easier to walk on.
