The sands were shifting in interesting ways these week causing sand dunes to appear out from shore. Some of the best days at the beach are in September and unfortunately there aren’t many people to enjoy them.

Sunday, September 9th, 2018 – looking across Nottawasaga Bay toward Collingwood. Collingwood Terminals visible on the far shore.
Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 – looking east with beach one still far off in the distance.  A beautiful summer day with sandbars extending out from the beach.
Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 – another sandbar with Blue Mountains in the background.
Thursday, September 13th, 2018 – the sandbar has moved off shore in the past 24 hours.
Thursday, September 13th, 2018 – look west down the beach and across the bay from the park near 13th street.
Friday, September 14th, 2018 – the has recently been graded.
Friday, September 14th, 2018 – Canada Geese and Seagulls retreat to their separate offshore sand dunes. Beach one in the background at the top right.
Friday, September 14th, 2018 – more Canada geese.
Friday, September 14th, 2018 – the birds love the calm shallow water.
