Winter has come early this year. There are daily snow squalls but with temperatures hovering near freezing the snow melts as fast as it can fall.

This is the toughest time of year to walk down the beach. I’m looking forward to later in December and January when the beach is reliably frozen solid.

Sunday, November 25th, 2018 – Taken at the start of my daily walk from 18th street looking west toward Blue Mountains. The beach is clear with winds from the northwest (as is almost always the case).
Sunday, November 25th, 2018 – I huge pile of dirt at beach one. I’m not sure the rationale for piling up the dirt like this. Easier to collect I suppose? You can see that waves have been sweeping up the beach during storms.
Monday, November 26th, 2018 – Taken at the trails near 13th street where I often exit the beach. A warm day and the snow is melting.
Monday, November 26th, 2018 – Looking southwest from the same exit at 13th street toward homes at the east end of Shore Lane.
Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 – This is a different perspective from what I usually share. Looking west from the west end of the boardwalk @ Beach 2.
Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 – Snow starting to fall with building waves – looking east across Wasaga Beach.
Thursday, November 29th, 2018 – We woke up Thursday to more snow – looking across the street from our front yard.
Thursday, November 29th, 2018 – Taken in black and white as the sun was rising from our backyard looking south. A beautiful morning.
