Winter has come early this year. There are daily snow squalls but with temperatures hovering near freezing the snow melts as fast as it can fall.
This is the toughest time of year to walk down the beach. I’m looking forward to later in December and January when the beach is reliably frozen solid.
Sunday, November 25th, 2018 – Taken at the start of my daily walk from 18th street looking west toward Blue Mountains. The beach is clear with winds from the northwest (as is almost always the case).Sunday, November 25th, 2018 – I huge pile of dirt at beach one. I’m not sure the rationale for piling up the dirt like this. Easier to collect I suppose?
