It’s funny how we wait for warm weather all winter and we want it to cool down once it’s here. The early part of this week was perfect – high of 22 early in the week and cooling right down at night.  The later part of the week was warm – this was a week of record heat through much of the USA.

Sunday, July 14th, 2019 – at Beach 2 along the boardwalk looking west. A perfect beach day.
Sunday, July 14th, 2019 – This picture shows the extent of the high water levels  on Georgian bay. The beach is almost non-existent at beach one – every so often a rogue wave washes over the folks sun bathing on the sliver of sand previously known as Beach one!
Sunday, July 14th, 2019 – An talented musician singing her heart out along Beach drive.
Monday, July 15th, 2019 – There is something creepy about how the seagulls become completely unafraid of people. Thinking Alfred Hitchcock. In the early spring they are timid of people. This time of year you need to kick them out of the way.
Monday, July 15th, 2019 – The water is high and there is no beach east of 18th street – unfortunately the only path is along trails through the grass.
Friday, July 19th, 2019 – East of beach one along the boardwalk. This section of beach is still fenced off to protect the Piping Plovers.
Friday, July 19th, 2019 – At the far eastern edge of the boardwalk east of Beach one.
Saturday, July 20th, 2019 – Looking west from the very east end of Wasaga Beach.
Saturday, July 20th, 2019 – this year is ugly – check out all the silt. It comes and goes depend on the wave action – particularly bad today.
