Monday, July 29th, 2019 – A warm, overcast Monday. You can see that the beach is a scant two feet wide as long as there is a south wind – there is no beach at all when winds are from the W / NW.
Monday, July 29th, 2019 – erosion along the waterfront as occasional high waves disrupt the root systems of trees along the shore.

For the later part of this week I shifted my daily walks from South Georgian Bay (Wasaga Beach) to North Georgian Bay (visiting Manitoulin Island) – The Island is prettier and a lot less populated.

Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 – This is the bridal veil falls at Kagawong, Ontario.
Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 – I waded out in the river to get this picture looking upstream towards the falls.
Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 – Before you ask, this is not the Wasaga Beach boardwalk – This is the Providence Bay boardwalk across the south shore of Manitoulin Island on Georgian Bay – The water is high here affecting an excellent beach. I think this is even prettier than Wasaga Beach and definitely a lot less crowded!
Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 – Our friends the Piping Plover are also protect up at Providence Bay although Manitoulin does not have a large-scale conservation effort as we do at Wasaga Beach – they are less threatened on Manitoulin because there are not as many people on the beach.
