The weather was very mild for January. What is striking in these pictures is the enormous damage from high waters. Fall storms have resulted in serious damage.

Sunday, January 5th, 2020. I walk by this tree every day, and fear it may be in trouble. These roots normally underground have been exposed.

Sunday, January 5th, 2020 – Walking east toward beach one from near 13th street. Trying to decide whether it is easier to walk on the sand or on the ice.

Thursday January 9th 2020 -Looking east from 18th street

Thursday January 9th 2020 – This fence and shed used to be far from shore. Unfortunately overnight winds did severe damage.

Friday January 10th 2020 – Heading back to my truck walking west across the boardwalk
