We got a break from the heat this week with a few rainy days back to back late in the week. So far it’s hard to complain about the summer of 2021 in terms of weather.

Sunday, July 4th, 2021 – Taken on Sunday evening walking east towards Beach 6. Great to see so many people enjoying the waterfront.
Sunday, July 4th, 2021 – Earlier the same day I walked down the opposite end of the beach. These pictures taken around 11:00 AM – just as the crowds were starting to show up along the boardwalk.
Sunday, July 4th, 2021 – This picture taken off beach 3. Looks like fun.
Monday, July 5th, 2021 – After the Canada Day weekend, the beach was deserted! Hard to explain why?
Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 – A day later the beach is packed the same time of day. Very strange.
Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 – No matter how busy the beach is, it’s not hard to find wide open expanses with no people.
Friday, July 9th, 2021 –
Friday, July 9th, 2021 – This pictures shows how the kite surfers actually fly above the water – taken with a telephoto lense. These is actually quite a good distance between these folks in case you are wondering.
Friday, July 9th – Two Seadoos anchored near 50th street – Collingwood Terminals in the background.
Friday, July 9th, 2021 – This pictures taken off Beach 6 – A great evening for kite sailing.
Saturday, July 10th, 2021 – Today my Mom and I met a couple from Quebec who had just created this awesome sand sculpture near 13th street just for fun. Very talented!
Saturday, July 10th, 2021 – Stopping for a coffee Saturday morning at Beach one around 10:30 AM as the crowds roll in. By 11:00 AM it was getting good and busy. Beach drive in the background is still covered with sand although the water levels have receded considerably since this time last year.
Saturday, July 10th, 2021 – Unfortunately this has been a pretty rowdy post-COVID summer so far. I’m seldom down at the beach towards midnight on the weekend but things get pretty crazy. The OPP have been out in force the past few weekends. Snapped a picture of this OPP vehicle at Beach one. Lots of police on four-wheelers patrolling the full length of the beach.
