This is probably the hottest week of the summer so far with daily highs over 30C. Thankfully the evenings cooled down by the end of week.

The blue ribbon across the beach is for wheelchairs to make it easy to get down to the water.Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 – On my way east heading towards Beach one. Crowded for a Wednesday. It’s great to see so many people enjoying the excellent weather.Thursday, August 12th, 2021 – Dog days of summer! This picture taken on my way back from the far east end of the beach. Pedro’s is an icon – pretty much the only business open year around.Friday, August 13th, 2021 – OPP patrolling the beach heading towards beach one. Things are quiet during the day but often rowdy at night so it is good to have them around. OPP have had a mobile command post parked at Beach one for most of the summer.Saturday, August 14th. 2021 – looking down a surprisingly deserted Beach One on a Saturday AM. A cool morning with Fall-like weather.Saturday, August 14th, 2021 – Later the same day, I walked down Beach 6 in the evening. Kite sailors are encouraged to sail from Beach 6 to avoid busier parts of the beach to the east.
