The fall colors are pretty much at their peak this week. This week’s cover photo is taken in our front yard in Wasaga Beach where we have eight red maples. They are beautiful this time of year, but cleaning up the yard when the leaves fall is always a significant amount of work!
Sunday, October 16, 2022 – On Sunday we decided to make a trek up to Blue Mountain for a late lunch and enjoy the Fall colors. I recommend the Kaytoo restaurant – our favorite spot in the village.
Monday, October 17, 2022 – Walking through the bush trails just south of beach two towards the provincial parking lots.
Tuesday, October 18th. 2022 – on Tuesday I took a second walk down the beach late in the afternoon and came across an enormous number of seagulls. This picture doesn’t capture how amazing it was to see them all take flight.
Tuesday, October 18th. 2022 – The sun is setting early these days. Taken at beach 6 looking west.
Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 – Wednesday was a cooler, rainy day. This picture was taken looking east over the noon hour during my daily trek down to Beach one.
Thursday, October 20th, 2022 – another gray, overcast day. Cool with strong winds and whitecaps.
Friday, October 21st, 2022 – More of the same. On my way to Beach one.
