Late March has been pleasant for beach walking with cold nights keeping the beach frozen and easy to walk on. Thankfully the snow is melting slowly so we are not seeing too much flooding (yet). 🙂

Week of Sunday, March 23rd, 2025 – Walking near Beach 3 on a beautiful Sunday morning. It was -10C over night causing ice to freeze along the shore.
Week of Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 – The trails across beach area 5 are covered by a mix of melting snow and blowing sand.
Week of Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 – Looking east across beach area 5. We had a dusting of snow overnight, covering the trails through the park.
Week of Thursday, March 27th, 2025 – Melting snow. Looking east during my walk down the beach at the east end of Beach area 5.
Week of Friday, March 28th, 2025 – Demolition of the properties along Beach Drive is underway. It will be exciting to see the redevelopment in the next year.
Week of Friday, March 25th, 2025 – Looking east along the far end of the eastern boardwalk.
Week of Saturday, March 29th, 2025 – Melting snow is causing miniature lakes to form across the provincial park at Beach area 5. It’s hard to keep your feet dry walking through the park.
