This was the Labor Day weekend and the beach was shockingly empty for the last weekend of summer. I supposed it must have been a combination of poor whether Saturday, COVID concerns, and back-to-school activity.
Sunday, Sept 6th, 2020 – Walking through the provincial park parking lots south of beach area 2. Hardly anybody in town this weekend.Sunday, Sept 6th, 2020 – Near the beach area 2 board at 5th street. I’ve never seen the beach so quiet on a long weekend.Monday, September 7th, 2020 – Still quiet on the holiday Monday. It’s already beginning to look like Fall.Monday, September 7th, 2020 – The beach area 2 boardwalk on Labor Day looking east toward the main beach area.Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 – By Wednesday, things were looking even more deserted.Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 – booth paths just south of the boardwalk at beach area 2. These trails connect the provincial parking lots to the south with the beach.Thursday, September 10th, 2020 – Taken at 13th street look almost due west across Nottawasaga Bay towards Collingwood.
