The featured picture for this week shows the high water-levels along the beach. It’s incredible how every day is different. Some days the beach are covered with snow and winds make the beach impassible – other days are quite pleasant.

Sunday, November 29th, 2020 – This Stand-up Paddle Board shop (SUP) at beach one – boarded up for the winter
Sunday, November 29th, 2020 – taken just west of 18th street – we’ve sadly lost another tree due to high water and erosion.
Monday, November 30th, 2020 – Walking east towards beach one. The beach is not pretty this time of year!
Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 – We had more snow than was expected overnight – looking out across our backyard early morning.
Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 – I usually enter the beach at 18th street and head east towards beach one – this is what the beach looked like today with strong northwest winds – the beach became impassible by 17th street so I needed to walk along Shore Lane instead parallel to the beach.
Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 – Taken at 17th street looking west after exiting the beach
Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 – Walking east along Shore Lane.
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 – The north winds were insane today. This pictures taken just west of beach one.
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 – Waves today placed what was formerly Beach Drive underwater. (Beach Drive was intentionally allowed to be covered with sand to accommodate high water)  The Town of Wasaga Beach make an excellent call in my view. Had they left the road as it was last year, every business along beach drive would have been flooded given the conditions today.
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 – this pic taken at 3rd street looking north. The street is blocked because beach drive no longer exists – it’s now part of the beach.
Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 – the winds were gentler today – as a result, there is more beach to walk on.
Friday, December 4th, 2020 – walking west near 13th street. We had a south wind today, so there is lots of beach. This picture illustrates how many trees are threatened with high water.
Saturday, December 5th, 2020 – Mom and I heading back west from beach one.
