
The cover picture this week is a new steel-framed home going up at Shore Lane and 57th Street just west of Beach Area 6. It will be interesting to watch construction progress in the coming weeks.

Sunday, March 22, 2026 – Looking east heading towards Beach Area 6.

Monday, March 23, 2026 – Cutting across Beach Area 5 on my way to the beach.

Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 – The runoff from the melting snow is carving deep channels across the beach. There are still berms of ice off the shore.

Thursday, March 26th, 2026 – Ice berms of Wasaga Beach

Friday, March 27th, 2026 – A beautiful day walking west across a nearly dry beach.

Saturday, March 28th, 2026 – The knoll I’m standing on is covered with grass in the summer, but presently it is covered with sand blown from the beach left by the melted snow.
