The featured picture this week is a ramp down to beach area 5. These heavy duty blue ramps make it easier to get wagons and wheel chairs to and from the beach. We had beautiful weather this week wuth temperatures in the high-teens and low-twenties and cool evenings.

Sunday, June 14th, 2026 -This is the trail that crosses that park at Beach Area 5 that I take regularly during my daily walks. This picture taken looking East with the beach to the left.

Sunday, June 14th, 2026 – 2026 is a big year in our family with both of our boys getting married. On Sunday we attended an engagement party for our son Ben and his future bride Sophia at Peter’s Fine Dining in Markham.

Monday, June 15, 2026 – Entering the beach at 42nd street for my daily walk.

Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 – This picture was taken looking east from the eastern end of Beach Area 5. I try to walk down the beach every day at least once, 365 days a year. As this picture shows, on most days the beach is desserted.

Wednesday, June 17th, 2026 – This picture taken from public parking at the Provincial Park at Beach Area 4.

Thursday, June 18th, 2026 – Kite Surfers at Beach Area 4. The reason the far shore looks close is that this picture was taken at the far extent of my phone’s digital zoom.

Friday, June 19th, 2026 – Another awesome day. As I recall, this picture was taken just west of 13th street at Beach Area 3. The Blue Mountains and Collingwood are visible across the Nottawasaga Bay.

Saturday, June 20th, 2026 – As I’ve mentioned in several posts, Beach Area one is undergoing serious re-development. The Breakers, is one of the first residential properties to be completed at Beach One. The first phase is standing, and other phases are under construction.
This URL and the illustraton below shows a concept of what the Breakers development will look like post-construction. https://www.stonebridgebg.ca/communities/the-breakers
