Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 – A warm, hazy Sunday – looking east toward beach one. The erosion to the beach is significant near 13th street. Last year the shoreline was definitely ~ 40-50 feet to the left.
Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 – Walking back home along Shore Lane. Lots of people around for the weekend.
Monday, September 23rd, 2019 – The weather changed today with winds from the northwest so I was back to weaving my way along trails as opposed to walking on the beach. Even gentle winds make the beach impassible this year with the water being so high. Take east of 18th street looking northeast along the shore.
Monday, September 23rd, 2019 – Looking west toward Blue Mountain from near 18th street. It wasn’t particularly windy today, but the waves are breaking far from shore because the water is so shallow.
Monday, September 23rd, 2019 – A recently renovated section of the boardwalk along beach area 2 looking west. Crazy how the beach is deserted even on a warm day this time of year.
Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 – Rain clouds in the east. Taken looking east from near 16th street around lunch.
Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 – Looking west from near beach 2. Despite all the erosion even mild west winds make the beach impassible in places this year.
Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 – looking east towards beach area 2 near 13th street just before sunset.
Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 – Looking across the may towards the Blue Mountains Wednesday evening.
Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 – Looking west towards the Blue Mountains
Thursday, September 26th, 2019 – Just after sunset on a windy Thursday looking across the bay.
Saturday, September 28th, 2019 – Taken Saturday evening – I have no idea why they call these the Blue Mountains – LOL!
Saturday, September 28th, 2019 – Saturday evening just after sunset
Saturday, September 28th, 2019 – Saturday evening just after sunset. Taken from the top of a sand dune just west of the 18th street beach entrance looking west towards the Blue Mountains.
