This was the first week we started to notice smoke from the wildfires burning across Northern Ontario and Quebec. The highlight of the week was installing a new Gazebo by pool area at our home in Wasaga Beach.
Monday, May 29th, 2023 – The wind off the water was cool on Monday, and the birds were tucking their heads and looking for warmth as they slept.
Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 – A rainy walk on a Tuesday over the noon-hour. I managed to get so wet I needed to wring out my socks! You can see where the beach sand is saturated due to the rainfall.
Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 – A much more pleasant day for a walk on Wednesday. This spot near Beach 6 is where the locals tend to go as it is less crowded than many of the other beach areas.
Thursday, June 1st, 2023 – A sparsely populated beach one. Taken looking from the boardwalk just west of Beach one.
Friday, June 2nd, 2023 – The protective snow fences from the winter are beginning to come down as people open up seasonal homes along Shore Lane. This pictures is of properties just West of 13th street.
Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 – This picture taken at 7:00AM on Saturday as the crew from Countryside Gazebo comes to install our new Gazebo. You could see the smoke from the fires in the air today around the rising sun.
Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 – The roof begins the take shape. The entire installation took about six hours from start to finish with a crew of three people.
Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 – The finished product! Definitely a nice addition to the yard.
