This week saw record high temperatures across most of Ontario. Thankfully, the nighttime temperatures were dipping into the mid-teens, making it pleasant for sleeping.
Monday, August 11th, 2025 – Work on improvements to the main beach is well underway. We can no longer walk along Beach Drive. The town plans to raise the level of the road by several feet to prevent the flooding we saw in years past.Monday, August 11, 2025 – This picture was taken from the eastern boardwalk, near the far eastern end of the beach. A perfect summer day. Tuesday, August 12, 2025 -Today, I walked down the opposite end of the beach, starting at the Recplex.
