The beach is in great shape this year compared to prior years despite a winter with lots of snow. The featured picture for this post was taken looking west across the Beach 2 boardwalk near 5th Street.

Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 – Despite all the construction along Beach Area one, the Plovers are still being protected.

Monday, May 4th, 2026 – Looking west during one of my daily walks across Beach Area 5.

Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 – The playground at Beach Area 5 on an overcast Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 – The weather was spectacular, with clear skies and northwest winds. This picture was taken at Beach Area 6, with the Blue Mountains and Collingwood visible across the Bay.

Thursday, May 7th, 2026 – This is the exit from Beach Area 5 looking west. The gate is still locked this time of year, as there are no visitors to the provincial park.

Friday, May 8th, 2026 – The beach is being graded and is in excellent condition for this time of year.
