We had exceptionally strong winds again this week. On December 22nd there were sustained winds of 56.3 km/h according to a local weather station at Weather Underground. Gusts were over 90 km/hr.

Sunday, December 19th, 2021 -With strong winds from the south, the water was pushed back far from shore. This is an unusual perspective looking towards the boardwalk. Any other day of the week I would have been standing in the water.
Tuesday, December 21st, 2021 – An orange glow as the sunsets. Walking near Beach 6 just before sunset at around 4:50PM.
Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021 – We had very strong winds on the 22nd, but thankfully it was not that cold – a little bit above freezing. This picture taken exiting the beach near the trails at 13th street.
Thursday. December 23rd, 2021 – The winds were calm today – this picture taken from beach one looking west across the beach 2 boardwalk.

Friday, December 24th, 2021 – A pleasant Christmas eve. The Canada Geese were out in force today for some reason up and down the beach.
Saturday, December 25th – Christmas Morning – a foggy walk down the beach with out of town guests. Taken looking at the shops along Beach area one. Beach Drive is still covered with sand from last year’s record high water levels.
Saturday, December 25th, 2021 – Unusually warm for Christmas day. Walking west along the Beach 2 boardwalk on a foggy Christmas morning. Surprisingly, several people had the same idea on Christmas day.
