We had a lot of snow this past winter, and in places, there are still snow banks. Some parks are flooded, and there are still many downed branches from last week’s ice storm. The weather is steadily improving, however, and it is nice to shed the parka and enjoy some warmer weather.
Sunday, April 6th, 2025 – Whenever there are northwest winds, the kite servers are out at Beach area 6.Monday, April 7th, 2025 – These are properties that I walk by every day just east of 30th street before the beach 4 entrance. The blue stairs go up to a small beachfront swimming pool that must be a blast in the summer months.Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 – We had fresh snow Tuesday, reminding us that it’s not summer yet! The rocks offshore are still covered with frozen ice.Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 – I’m still seeing damage from last week’s ice storm up and down the beach.
