I always find that April is the longest month of the year. We are teased with summer temperatures, and then things turn cold, and we realize that summer is still a long way off!

Sunday, April 13th, 2025—This picture was taken just east of my usual turnaround spot at 57th Street when I walk the west end of the beach. This part of the beach is still covered with debris. In a week or two, the town will begin cleaning up the beach as we get ready for the Victoria Day / May 2-4 weekend.
Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 – This picture shows damage from the recent ice storm at the far east end of Shore Lane just west of 13th street. Looking north towards the water. The ginormous snow banks are still visible to the left of the picture.
Tuesday, April 15th, 2025—The beach looked desolate on Tuesday morning. Throughout most of the Fall, Winter, and Spring, I have the beach to myself and rarely meet other people. I’m looking forward to summer and the beach being busy again.
Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 – Looking across the Nottawasaga Bay toward the Blue Mountains from near 57 street. The beach is still littered with debris.
Thursday, April 17th, 2025 – Looking west along the beach near 30th street. (between beach areas 4 and 5)
Saturday, April 19th, 2025 – Looking west from near 57th street. The beach is still a mess, covered with debris from the winter months.
