We got back from our trip to Ottawa to walk down the beach late in the afternoon on Sunday. While in Ottawa, we missed the sand castle competition at Beach One, but I managed to get some pictures during a Monday walk down the beach with my Mom. The featured pictue for this post is a sand sculpture of a dragon under a bed down at Beach Area 2. It’s great to see that people are respecting the sand castles and there is no damage.
Sunday, July 26th, 2026 – It’s good to be back home walking down the beach near Beach Area 6.
Monday, July 27th, 2026 – The sand sculptures this year were spectacular. This sculpture was still looking great on the Monday following the competition over the weekend.

Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 – It was actually nice to have an overcast day. This picture taken on my way to Beach Area one walking along the boardwalk at Beach Area 2. The northwest wind has covered the boardwalk with sand.

Thursday, July 30th, 2026 – Exiting Beach area 5 headed towards Shore Lane on one of my daily walks.
Thursday, July 30th, 2026 – On Thursday evening, my brother treated my wife Michelle and I to a wonderful dinner at the Lakeside Grill in Collingwood. Georgian Bay and the Collingwood terminals are in the background.
