A perfect week for enjoying the beach – there is nothing better than cool overnight temperatures and daily highs in the teens. It’s still pretty quiet along the beach – both because it is too early in the season and because Ontario is still in lock-downs due to COVID-19.

Sunday, May 8th, 2021 – Taken near 50th street at Beach 6 in the evening looking across the bay with Collingwood in the background.
Monday, May 10th, 2021 – These rabbits are breeding like rabbits! I snapped this pictures @ 7:00 AM. They are all over our yard this year and our dog is not happy!
Monday, May 10th, 2021 – Trying to get back to my truck before the rain hits!
Tuesday, May 11th, 2021 – Today reached a high of 9C, but it was colder around noon when this picture was taken. Cold north winds. I don’t know how these kite sailors hack the temperatures.
Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 – I always walk by this stream near beach 6 just east of 50th street. This time of year you can jump over it, but it bisects the beach in the early spring when the snow is melting.
Thursday, May 13th, 2021 – Taken at 50th street in the evening. Walking along this part of the beach is exhausting. Deep sand!
Friday, May 14th, 2021 – A couple of paddle boarders taking a break off-shore
Saturday, May 15th, 2021 – Someone planted an Umbrella on what used to be Beach Drive – now reclaimed by the sand with high water levels on the Great Lakes.
