Finally some cold nights. The bay froze over as far as we could see. Still, 2020 looks like a mild winter. I wouldn’t be walking out on the ice right now.

Monday, January 20th, 2020 – After a cold night, the ice extended further across the bay.
Monday, January 20th, 2020 – a cold night with fresh new snow made for awesome conditions today. Easier to walk along the snowmobile trails where the snow is packed.
Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 – Looking east along the board on the east side of Beach drive.
Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020 – Looking towards the Blue Mountains across the bay from Wasaga Beach near 16th street.
Thursday, January 23rd, 2020 – A warm day today resulted in ice breaking up across the bay – looking towards Blue Mountain.
Friday, January 24th, 2020 – These homes along Shore Lane are safe, but this picture shows the extent of the shore erosion at 13th street due to the record high water on the Great Lakes this year.
Saturday, January 25th, 2020 – Looking across the bay on a snowy Saturday morning.
