Monday, September 17th, 2018 – Incredible day for mid-September. Walking along the beach with 30 degree temperatures.
Monday, September 17th, 2018 – looking west from the boardwalk at beach one. You can tell school is back in. Tourists are gone and hardly anyone on the beach.
Thursday, September 20th. 2018 – a little more like Fall today. Looking east on my daily walk toward beach one.
Thursday, September 20th. 2018 – I met this fox returning to my truck near 18th street in a field just south of Shore Lane. I’ve seen him (or her) several times running along the beach but finally managed to get a picture.

September 21st was the day of so many severe storms across Ontario and Quebec including the tornados in Gatineau. We had more damage to our fence following storm in the spring with 100 km/hr winds that did serious damage. Luckily, our fence was about to be replaced anyway. The temperature dropped from 31.7 on Thursday to 5.6 degrees literally over night.

Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 – yesterday’s waves came all the way up the beach into the grass. This picture taken Saturday evening and the beach was still saturated from the storm and high winds. Friday was the day of the Tornados in Ottawa / Gatineau.
Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 – we didn’t have a lot of damage – just the odd tree branch down – taken on the Shore Lane trail connecting 13th street to Shore Lane. Sand dunes from the beach at the top left of the photo.
