No shortage of snow this winter so far. My wife Michelle has been enjoying tooling around in her fancy new red Jeep – perfect for conditions around here.

Sunday, February 10th, 2019 – This picture taken walking back from beach one heading west at the wester edge of the boardwalk.  Temperature was -6C with gentle winds.
Sunday, February 10th, 2019 – On Sunday afternoon we headed up to Blue Mountain to have lunch and celebrate Michelle’s birthday. Michelle on the right and our younger son Jamie at the left. We were joking that this was “Sally’s” (Sally is Michelle’s bright red jeep that she got for Christmas) first off-road experience. She’s is just a baby with 200km on her.
Monday, February 11th, 2019 – Today was colder – -10C late morning. Walking down the beach was hard as you can see because it was covered by fresh snow. Someone else had trekked down the beach this morning and footprints were partially covered by the wind.
Monday, February 11th, 2019 – I left the beach at 13th street because it was too hard to walk along the shore. Unfortunately the only way back to the road was through deep snow.
Tuesday, February 12th, 2019 – More snow today. Very cold. -11C with strong north winds. Looking west from 18th street. It was easier to walk along the beach because snowmobile trails have been packed since yesterday,
Wednesday, February 13th, 2019 – Looking across Georgian Bay
Thursday, February 14th. 2019 – By late in the week it was warming up and becoming very pleasant. Blue skies, sun, light-wind and -3C. You can see that the beach has turned into a super-highway of snowmobile tracks. This picture taken looking east west of 13th street.
