It looks as though we’re headed for a rainy weekend. I guess we shouldn’t be complaining. Better this than the hot weather our friends in BC are experiencing this summer.

Sunday, July 11th – Taken entering the beach near 14th street on an overcast morning. The water was glass calm. The folks in this sailboat anchored offshore and took a Dinghy in to visit friends along the beach.

Wednesday, July 14th, 2021 – Taken from the Eastern boardwalk. The fenced off areas are meant to protect Piping Plovers. The beach is packed for a Wednesday. This is prime tourist season. Great to see the crowds return after all the COVID-19 lockdowns.

Wednesday, July 14th, 2021 – The OPP have maintained a substantial presence around the beach all summer. Good to see them. Things have been a little more rowdy than normal this summer.
