The temperatures turned cold early November and we have snow squalls. We got our leaves picked up just in time.
Monday, November 11th, 2019 – taken near 13th street looking east with steady lake effect snow.Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 – slush piling up along the shore. While the air is cold, the water is still too warm to freeze.Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 – We’ve had snow squall warnings all week.Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 – you can tell that the waves were higher overnight because of the frozen beach and ice caked on the vegetation.Saturday, November 16th, 2019 – this is new in the last week. High wind and waves have “sheared off” a ~20-30 feet of sand dune leaving a vertical wall at the high extend of the waves. This happened literally overnight.
