The unseasonably warm temperatures continued all through October with summer-like temperatures some days. The leaves from our maples have started to fall so we were able to start bagging leaves this week.
Sunday, October 22nd, 2023 – A windy Sunday morning walk looking north. I can’t recall what part of the beach this was taken from.
Monday, October 23rd, 2023 – Blowing out the lines in our inground sprinkler system to get ready for winter.
Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 – The trail through the Provincial park at Beach area 5. I’m glad I don’t have to pick up all these leaves!
Wednesday, October 25th, 2023 – Looking west along the beach 2 boardwalk
Thursday, October 26th, 2023 – Looking east along the beach on my way home from near 57th street.
Friday, October 27th, 2023 – Looking east across the length of the beach from near 29th street. The sand is packed from waves and regular rain.
Saturday, October 28th, 2023 – There are still plenty of leaves to fall unfortunately. Usually by early November we are able to get all the leaves from our 7 large maples and additional trees in the front yard picked up and bagged.
