So the beach is still closed, but beach trails are open and this apparently includes the boardwalk along beach one. Lots of confusion – LOL!
Monday, May 18th, 2020 – This is a new play structure in the provincial park area west of 6th street. It’s kind of sad to see it sitting idle.Monday, May 18th, 2020 – Someone stood up driftwood and planted it as if it were a tree near Beach one. The beach is tiny due to high water and still full of debris from winter storms.Thursday, May 21st, 2020 – Taken at beach one – this part of the beach has been cleaned up. Normally this is Beach Drive, but it is covered by roughly 12-18″ of sand. The town has decided to let nature take it’s course and allow the beach to take over the roadway. Unfortunately there is no longer a Beach Drive – just a beach!Thursday, May 21st, 2020 – Walking across the parking lot at the provincial park by beach 2. Not a person in sight.
