This has turned out to be an exceptional year for Fall colors. The picture below was taken in our front yard on October 24th. The key to bright colors is apparently an early frost. As I write this on October 30th, 90% of our leaves are down – a huge difference from 2021 when we were still picking up leaves in the snow in mid-November.
Monday, October 24th, 2022 – Looking at our property on Rigby Drive from the street. We have 8 red maples in our front yard, five of which are visible in our pictures.

Monday, October 24th, 2022 – This is why walking down Wasaga Beach is so fun. I came across supergirl today at 39th street. You never know who you are going to run into.

Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 – Phase I of the beach one upgrades are finally underway. I know a lot of people are against this, but I’m excited to see upgrades to the main beach area.
Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 – Looking north from our porch. We have a lot of leaves to pick up!
Friday, October 28th, 2022 – Looking west during an evening walk, west of Beach 6.
Saturday, October 29th, 2022 – This is new! I’m not sure where this sand came from. I assume it is related to the excavations taking place along beach one. It will be fun to watch the waves make short work of these berms on the first day with a northwest wind.
