The ice is off the bay and it is beginning to feel more like summer. Unfortunately, my camera stopped working. I got down the beach every day, but I missed several pictures from this week. Posting the pictures I took from my phone only.
Sunday, May 1st, 2022 – The tractors clearing sand from Beach one dumped mounds of sand along the waterfront at beach 2. Relying on the waves to redistribute the sand,Sunday, May 1st, 2022 – A Windy Sunday with northwest winds. The Kite sailors were enjoying beach 1. In the summer months, kit sailing is restricted to beach area 6.Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 – We constructed a new sunroom on the south side of our place during the winter months, and are finally starting to enjoy it with the good weather.Friday, May 6th, 2022 – I walk by this storm sewer egress most afternoons when I take a late afternoon walk down the beach. Taken at 57th street just west of Beach on an evening walk along the west end of the beach.
