Conditions are generally better than the past few years. The cold temperatures make it easier to get out on the ice without worrying about slush.

Normally this would be a good place to enter the beach but the drifting snow was too deep today.Saturday, February 5th, 2022 – I found a better place to enter the beach at 15th street.
