We finally had some more seasonable weather with Sunday dawning clearn and cold. the beach is always beautiful on these cold clear days. By the end of the week we were back to overcast weather.
Sunday, January 15th, 2023 – Taken at 57th street during an evening walk near Beach 6. There is shore ice, but the Nottawasaga Bay is a long way from freezing over. It just hasn’t been cold enough.Monday, January 16, 2023 – This picture taking looking west from near 13th street on a beautiful Monday around the noon hour.Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 – You can see from the footprints that the beach has been very well travelled the past few days. It was above freezing so I was walking through slush.Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 – By Wednesday, the beach was entirely clear! It looks more like April weather than January.Thursday, January 19th, 2023 – Despite the melt, the shore ice is still handing in there. The ski hills at Blue Mountain in the distance.Friday, January 20th, 2023 – After another snowfall overnight, things started looking a little more seasonable on Friday.Saturday, January 21st, 2023 – An evening walk back from 57th street heading west towards the Recplex.
